Who doesn’t want to enjoy a stress-free wedding day?
Unfortunately, however, weddings can sometimes cause nothing but stress, especially for brides.
Luckily there are several ways to eliminate the stress and enjoy the day.
To make it even easier on you, we’ve compiled a list of ten tips to stay on top of the pressure and to take advantage of every moment.
1. Make sure everyone knows their task
Wedding rehearsals are the best way to ensure that everyone in the wedding party is aware of where they’re supposed to stand and what they’re supposed to do.
After the rehearsal, you should feel at ease about the flow of your ceremony.
In addition, you can pre-schedule several WedTexts to remind those who have special tasks with a simple text message.
2. Eat a complete breakfast
I know there’s the idea that if you eat right before the big day, you may not be able to fit into your gown.
I call BS on that!
And besides, it’s so not worth starving through the entire ceremony and photos and the massive amount of hugs and congratulations you’ll have to go through before you can eat something.
The trick is to eat a meal that is high in protein that will keep you fuller longer.
So how about trying one of these delicious ideas.
P.S. you can delegate for someone else to get you breakfast that morning!
3. Allow enough time to get ready
No one wants to rush their beauty routine right before they walk down the aisle.
If you’ve done a makeup trial with your artist beforehand, then you’ll know approximately how long it’ll take.
Set aside enough time for you to get the exact look you’re going for without pushing the clock.

4. Have a wedding day survival kit
Band-Aids, mints, tissues, pins, eye drops, mini sewing kits, tweezers, tampons, compact mirror.
You never know what you may need so it pays to be prepared.
Have a packed bag that your maid-of-honor will keep for emergencies.
5. Stretch to release any tension
A few deep breaths and some stretching can help relax tense muscles.
Another easy way to relieve tension is to create a calming playlist to listen to while you get ready.
It’ll ease your mind and you’ll have another memento to keep from your stress-free wedding day.
6. Be sure to hydrate
With everything going on, you don’t want to tire yourself out too soon.
Make sure to have some water in between the champagne and always remember your limits.
You want to be able to enjoy yourself, not spend your reception in the bathroom…
7. Break-in wedding shoes beforehand
I totally get it.
They’re cute shoes and they go perfectly with your gown.
But if you don’t wear them a few times before the big event, you will regret it.
Avoid blisters and soreness. Break-in your shoes. It’s that simple.
8. Delegate any last-minute tasks
It’s easy to worry about things that have yet to be completed.
If the favors have not all been tied with ribbons or if the flower girl is still waiting for the rest of her petals, let someone else deal with it.
This is the time to relax and enjoy your stress-free wedding day.
If you don’t have a wedding planner who can oversee these things, elect one of your bridesmaids to be in charge.
As long as you have someone on the task, it frees up your mind to focus on other things.
9. Be prepared for anything
What are you going to do if there are some last-minute changes that need to be made?
Luckily, they had a backup plan: WedTexts.
They were able to let all of their guests know about the changes they had to make because of the weather without spending hours and hours calling each and every one of their guests.
10. Enjoy your stress-free wedding day
Sometimes not everything goes according to a perfect plan and that’s okay.
Roll with the punches.
Don’t sweat the small stuff.
If you stay calm and stress-free, everyone else around you will too.
Instead of panicking, focus on making incredible memories with the love of your life and all of your family and friends.
