Things were going great planning their wedding. Looking back on the past 7 months, it was hard for Kendall to believe how quickly it had passed, and how much was still left to do!

Matthias and Kendall agreed on the invitations they were sending their guests. They chose the Folk Floral invitations from Minted.com (affiliate link).  The style and coloring stayed consistent with their Bohemian style wedding, and they matched their website perfectly!

Then things came crashing down when taste testing the cake options! Kendall was in love with a traditional wedding cake. In her mind it was perfect! It was moist, not too sweet and the cream cheese icing really put it over the top.

Matthias fell in love with a strawberry cheesecake wedding cake. The cheesecake with strawberry accent was to die for. One taste and he was hooked.

After several minutes of each of them bringing up times where the other had compromised in other areas of planning their wedding it was clear neither of them was going to budge. This was a decision that didn’t need to be made now, and with that in mind they agreed to come back to it later…

Stay tuned to see who won the cake battle!
